She became a three time All-American and was also the First Baseman. She also earned the Honda Award as the nation's best softball player in 2001 when the Wildcats took home the title of national champions and in 2002 she was named the best player in the nation. Wounded Warrior Softball Team's (WWAST) objective is to raise awareness about the sacrifices made by soldiers, their strength and their ability to face difficulties through the use of celebrity softball games and exhibition games.
